Old Songs

A few days ago I showed some pieces of rag paper which I'd decorated with lots of surface texture and paint. Well this is a collage I made with one of them.

I sewed some strips of silk organza to the edges and added an image of a bluebird in a slide mount frame. The scrap of sheet music is from my collection of Victorian song books, and the whole thing is mounted on painted and sanded mat board.
