I must have passed this little cottage dozens of times -- I'm assuming it was recently painted.Kim Hambrichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08784106179953299055noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21435870.post-49882872145727380972011-02-20T11:38:43.574+00:002011-02-20T11:38:43.574+00:00Claire, I've found (after MUCH trial and error...Claire, I've found (after MUCH trial and error) that hot pressed paper is best, although not quite as easy to watercolour on. My current favourite for ink and wc work is Hahnemuhle Fine Art paper 300g HP: http://www.artdiscount.co.uk/product/hahnemuhle_300gsm_watercolour_block/

It can also make a difference which type/brand of pen you use. I like microns but they're not available locally so I mostly use Staedtler pigment liners which I've found are much less inclined to scratch or skip than other brands.

Hope that's some help :)Francescahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05431287298058419329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21435870.post-84188221128646014692011-02-20T11:13:01.808+00:002011-02-20T11:13:01.808+00:00so cute :)
