B is for button, which is this week's Wednesday Stamper theme. I made this piece using transparencies, text from an old German dictionary, paper, lace and a card stencil on a painted background. Then I covered the whole thing with beeswax for a lovely soft effect.The stamped buttons on the stencil letter B are actually buttons which I covered with ink for an improvised stamp. Worked pretty well I thought.
