Another journal spread using some of my favourite colours and techniques but combined in ways I haven't necessarily done before. It's very freeing just to play with materials and see what happens without there needing to be 'art' at the end of it!
"...without there needing to be 'art' at the end of it." THIS is my biggest bug-a-boo in everything. I can still here instructors telling me this in some way or another ...as I rammed myself through the process (of whatever) to get to the end "art". I blame my years as a graphic artist with deadlines and waiting clients... And the thing is -- you DO get 'art' at the end afterall (but of course you're you and as a Fran-fan I can say boldly you have "it" and it just drips out of you). Thanks for the reminder - I will try. XO

This is amazing! Wow.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's nice to just meander and make stuff. I have completion issues too, but I love getting lost making something.
Blogger is being weird, so I'll sign this. . .
Love, MAB
These are great - very vibrant too! Sandra
