I took a few photos of the river near my home the other day and they inspired me to try some abstract painting. This piece came about after studying the reflections in the water, which always intrigue me. It's a little larger than I normally work - just under A4 size.
Mmmm, lots of fun and even though you say it is an abstract, somehow, it does still look like water. It is very textured and lively.
