Post It

I've always been interested in mail art although I've never really created any myself. However the other day I happened upon Gillian Allen's great little PS tutorial on faux postage and decided to have a go. This is one of those things which is very addictive and I can't stop making postage stamps now. Must try and find a mail art swap...

Fran, these are terrific! Wow, no wonder you're hooked - you're a natural. Why don't you hostess a faux postage swap with people whose art you like? (or maybe just anyone -- so I could get invited! LOL.)
Seriously, I am in love with these that you did. I need to mosey over to that tutorial.

Ooooh, these are delicious!! I agree, you should host a little swap (says she, with the big baby-blues fluttering, hoping for an invitation;-P) - I really like mail art, as long as I know the recipient does too - imagine someone binning all your hard work or thinking you just sent them some manky old envelope LOL! I do of course have the faux postage paper which I bought years ago, made a couple and put aside for 'some other time'... maybe it's time to look it out (though these are for stamping and yours are digital??? Must go and see that tutorial!!)
