llustration Friday - Spotted
Life's Lottery
This is a piece I did recently which seems to fit with the theme. It's done with reproductions of one of my collection of cabinet photographs. I love the expression on this woman's face - uncertain but also rather hopeful. I wonder what she was thinking as she posed for her portrait.

  6. This one is exceptionally fine. Life as frames of a film. I like it very much.

  7. It's interesting, the way the color shift affects how I perceive her enigmatic expression -- the blue palette makes her seem more hesitant, the pinker palette more forthcoming.

    Beautifully made, and very interesting.

  9. You've described her expression perfectly. There is defintely that look of anticipation but also a bit of apprehension. I lov e what you did with it...sort of lining up the choices...and the title is just right. Well done:>
